We are moving our shop and will probably have to do a lot more in the way of amps and speakers. I wish I knew what the market pricing is out there on the installation of these things, so that I can stay competitive. It would seem that just for the amps and installation equipment alone (considering 2 amps, new speakers and a 10" sub) you would be at about $500.00 before any installation.

A lot of the places around here (Harrisburg, PA) charge about $30 a pair for speaker installation.  Not sure what the amp pricing is, but when I asked about both amp and subs I was quoted at $160.  Hope that helps.

I live and work in a pretty small town, and we charge at our shop $65 for an amp install (not including the actual wire) if they bought the amp from us and about $75 it they bought the amp somewhere else. Add on the 4 ga. amp wiring kit at about another $75, it's a pretty good way to make some money for just a few hours work.
