have a Skar Audio EVL d2 15. I currently have it in a qbomb ported prefab box. Would the difference in sound if it was in a custom box be worth the extra money? Thanks for any info!

I have never heard of the driver you mention, but in general a custom built enclosure that is designed for the driver in use will always perform better than any prefab. The only person who can tell you if it's worth the price difference is you.
