i'm currently working on my newest project in a 89 civic dx... the stereo wiring is all but understandable to me.. if anyone has any information on how to connect an aftermarket stereo in this model of car.. or what the color codes are for the wires from the vehicle plz notify me

have you not tried a wiring harness adaprter for your car?  Does the car not have the orignal wiring harness in it?    If it still does you could probably try a metra harness.  the link below should help in that respect.  But if there is no harness in the car go with the color codes.
