Hello I have 02 sunfire coupe base model. I'm having tough time finding a wiring harness. I was at the local stereo place said i need a relocation harness. Is this necessary? I remember my 01 cavalier base I just used a wiring harness only thing with that door chine was deleted. or can I cut the harness?

Metra 70-2003 You will have to find a switched wire in the fuse box.

It is the same harness you used for the cavalier. It is not listed for your car because the one listed for your car has the chime box and keeps the retained accessory working. You were asking about an inexpensive harness and you did not mind losing those things. It will work. You just have to get switched power from the AC control or the fuse box.
