Hello, my new system was working perfectly until I installed a graphic equalizer. Now everything turns on, yet there is just the slightest static sound coming from the speakers. I run a pioneer AVH-290BT receiver, to the newly added Massive eq7, to a nitro bmw-481 800w 2 channel amp driving 2 12" lanzar vectors(bridged),, as well as a pyramid arctic pb417x 1000w 4 channel amp driving 2 pioneer 6x9s (just discovered one of those is finished, wondering if this causes the whole system to not work correctly), 2 Sony 6.5s, 2 pyramid 3in tweets and 2 boss 1 inch tweets.

The system was performing outstanding, loud, clear, for several days, as soon as I hooked up this massive eq7 I haven't heard the music since. Just faint static and crackle. Anyone know about this or experienced this issue?

Does the EQ power on, and have you verified your RCA's are correct (inputs to inputs, outputs to outputs)?

Yes, the eq powers on, and I've made sure the rca's were top quality ($40 each!) and working. I did a fuse tap for power, ground is behind the center console, and remote turn on is linked to the receiver (and amps). When I take the eq back out if tge equation everything works, when I plug it in between receiver and amps everything turns on, but no sound. I've turned knobs and done everything I am think of. I'm lost as to what the problem is.

If you've gone through the manual and made sure there's not something you're missing, verify input/output signals with a multimeter set to AC voltage. It's powering on, so if you have input and no output, it's likely dead on arrival.

I'll check it tonight when I get home from work. Damn swing shift. I'll post what I find.
