I am thinking about replacing my standard factory radio with the factory Bose 6CD in dash changer that was an option on my '02 Maxima. Does anyone know if the wiring harness for the standard radio will fit in the Bose? Will the factory speakers work with the Bose system? I know on some older models the individual speakers had amps, but I do not know about the new ones. Thanks in advance.

If you want to pay about 800 bucks MINIMUM, it can technically be done. The problem with the bose sound systems is that the amplifiers and speakers are matched and made to work only with each other. Even the bose systems that have amps not mounted on each speaker, still have the same type of problem.
Your main problem will be due to the fact that I'm pretty sure that bose 6 disc in-dash changer/head unit has no built-in amplification. So unless the system you already have in there has external factory amplifiers that use low-level inputs, you're not gonna be able to put that bose head unit in without a LOT of work.
Even if your car already DOES have those factory amps and they DO use low-level inputs, all the wiring would have to be done wire-by-wire as I'm almost positive the harnesses are not the same.
Just FYI when you get the "Bose Sound System" in most vehicles, it consists of bose speakers as well as bose amplifiers (external or mounted on each speaker), and a bose head unit. Some of the 03 nissans though use the identical head unit for bose and non bose, just the bose system adds on a couple speakers and more powerful amplifiers.
If you're looking to add CD capability or multi-CD capability, you'd be better off going for an aftermarket FM modulated cd changer. Also, Blitzsafe makes input adapters that give you a direct (slightly better than fm modulated) connection but I don't know if they make one for your vehicle. If they do, you just grab an aftermarket dedicated cd changer (check the blitzsafe adapter to see which brand it's for) and it hooks directly to your factory head unit, and all the controls and displays occur on the factory head unit's display.
