The amp I bought (Clarion XC2510) has two 12-gauge wires for power and two for ground. Not sure why they would do this, but I need to join these to an 8-gauge wire from the battery and to ground point. What's the best way to join these? Not sure my soldering gun would heat all that wire.

Or I could get a propane torch for the soldering and heat-shrink?
