hi
i installed one of these recievers in my bedroom using an old psu from a desktop for 12v dc supply.
speakers are all within range (6ohm). unit power is ok and appears to work fine. but there is very little volume from the 4 speakers and i have to turn them up high just to get a faint sound. also they crackle when i turn volume to the max. i have tried resetting the unit and also the connections and power supply with another reciever unit no prob. is this repairable ?

Since you are saying Receiver problem it makes me wonder if it does this on all sources or just the tuner?

I am sure it is repairable. No idea about repair shops in Ireland, but here in the states it is probably cheaper to purchase a new one.
