I have two 1000 watt RMS subs that have dual 2 ohm V.C. I need either one amp to drive both (2000 Watts RMS) or two 1000 Watt RMS amps. I'm going to hook up the speakers at 2 ohms either way and I was wondering what was out there that was good quality but isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg?

JBL BP1200.1...solid for reliability and does its power into 1 or 2 ohm...and pretty cheap at around $280 USD...

The JBL 1200.1 or the MTX 81000D(1501D 2003) you can get the 1200.1 on ebay for $285, or the MTX for $300. The MTX will actually push close to 2000watts and is 2 ohm stable.
