Hey Guys. I just found this place and have to say what an awesome forum. I belong to about 75 forums and this one really offers alot. Since you can see I'm no newbie to forums and I have done searching and reading first, I'm gonna ask a question.

Does anyone know how to bypass the parking brake needing to be on for the video display to work on an indash DVD player? I have a Clarion VRX935VD if that helps. I haven't started my install yet, still waiting on a bunch more parts to show up, but I figured I would ask now so I might have an answer by the time I need it.

I'll try to help out answering questions whenever I can, but it gets tough keeping up with all the forums.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Tim :D

Hey Tim, just ground the wire to the chassis and your done. If you need to toggle this wire for programming then install a toggle switch inline to ground.

Thanks Jeff.

I was just checking out your Website. Pretty nice. I'm sure I'll have more questions before I'm done since I am installing alot of stuff in this Tahoe. I figured it had to be something really simple since every other car I see going down the road with an indash DVD has theirs working.

Thanks again

Hey Guys. Any Idea on where the best place to mount the hideaway unit on this Clarion VRX935VD is on a '97 Tahoe? Should I just put it under the passenger seat. Thats kinda where I was gonna put the TV tuner and the video distribution unit. If you guys have any thoughts, they would be really appreciated.

One more question. Does anyone make a filler for the cd player in the Tahoe or is that just a dealer item I can get. I would like to mount my center channel amp there.

Thanks again

Tim
