First of all, thanks for the responses in my other thread. Now I have bigger fish to fry.

This is a separate install in a 2011 GMC Terrain.Putting a DSP and 2 amps(Zapco) in and yesterday was finishing up the wiring terminations.I'm using the stock low level outputs for a signal.Went to fire it up for the first time and here is what happened step by step.......

1.Amp was immediately in protect mode and getting very warm.
2.After testing and testing finally boiled down to the left tweeter + wire showing perfect continuity with chassis ground.
3.Removed tweeter wire from amp and immediately took amp out of protection mode.It was periodically blinking green but after a while back to solid normal green.
4.Head unit was acting strangely in certain functions. The volume control was not moving up or down, couldn't change radio stations.
5.No sound coming out at all either, anywhere.
6.Checked the stock low level output voltage and was reading 3.9 DC volts,no AC!!
7.Measured voltage again this morning and getting nothing,AC or DC.Stock head unit functions are totally back to normal but it is not putting out any voltage.
8.Left tweeter is complete fried and when we were going through this could smell the burning.

So all that being said I think I fried the stock outputs?Anybody care to give any feedback on this situation it would be very appreciated, thanks.
