Hi Guys,
I have got a Kenwood CD Car Player, and want to connect my portable Mini
Disc player to it so I can play Mini discs through my car cd player, how
is this possible? Can I connect it to the wires at the back?
Cheers,
Stuart

Only if your Kenwood has an "Aux" input.  What model is it?

Actually what you need stuart.murphy is an auxiliiary input adapter.  Your Kenwood head unit needs to have CD changer controls as well as a single source button (rather than separate buttons for CD, FM, AM, etc.).  Crutchfield says that most 99 and later kenwood models will work with it but you might want to verify with them before you purchase it.

This adapter converts the CD changer port into two RCA input jacks, and it also tells the head unit that the additional source is available.  Otherwise it would not let you select it as a source when you press "source" to flip through available sources.

And if your MD player just has a 1/8" headphones plug you'll also need a lil Y-adapter to convert its output to an RCA type output to work with the kenwood aux. input adapter.
