I'm using the stock HU so my DSP gets turned on by a switched 12v circuit in the interior fuse panel. The slot was empty and I added the circuit. The DSP then turns on 2 amps and I now want to add 2 fans to cool the amps. Can the switched circuit handle 2 more loads like that or should I use a relay?I'm not sure how many amps the fuse panel circuit can handle so thats why I'm asking. Thanks!

What car/HU/DSP are we talking about? What are the specs on the fans?

2011 Terrain, stock HU with Zapco Z8 IV processor,2 Zapco STX amps and fans are rated to draw .19 amps.

Just using common sense would tell me that I could easily use the circuit from the fuse panel because the other fuses in the same column are 20A and 10A. The 5 components I'll be powering probably won't even amount to 1A of draw. Is my thinking correct here?Approval from an expert here would be appreciated, thanks.

Those are pretty small fans - so you are correct - should work fine on existing circuit.
