So my stereo is permanently dimmed due to my dimmer wire getting 12v from my ignition. I have no idea where its getting powered from, but I have a lot of electrical additions and I don't know where to start. Curious point... It only gets power when the hazard loom is connected to the switch. I removed power to the one thing that's tapped into my indicators, no help.

Any thoughts?

Edit: so when testing the signal, I noticed the ign signal is much lower voltage than the parking lights signal, so a 12000ohm resistor is letting enough through to activate via parking lights, but not enough to let the ign signal switch the dimming function. All my parking lights are led, so the 2.3v doesn't power them at all. Still a wonder!

It's a 2002 TJ Magna VR-X.

Are you referring to the green/white wire behind the radio? If so, you should be able to relay isolate it. Cut this wire and connect the radio side to terminal 30. Connect the other side to terminals 86 and 87. Now ground terminal 85.

LED bulbs can cause weird issues. I remember when I went to LED bulbs, my remote start would no longer work. Diagnostics pointed to the brake shutdown. Instead of using a relay, I simply switched to the positive door trigger wire and no more problems.
