Hi Guys

I need some help. I got a new sub not realizing how it would affect my system. My amp is 4 ohm x 300w 2 ohm 600w or 1 ohm 1000w. But the problem is the Alpine Type r 12in shallow mount only has one connection. I really only need the one speaker. Is there a way to change my setup to use lower ohms?

This is the amp

The speaker

Any suggestions on how to get my thump back without buying more stuff just before Christmas?

I'm not a fan of shallow subs, but did you listen to it in the store? What amp was used for the demo?

Matched properly, in the right enclosure, 350 watts is plenty to add bottom end to a nice system.

My car only has an 8 inch sub and while it won't rattle the teeth out of my head, it sounds great.

If you're not satisfied, could you return it to swap it for a 2-ohm version (if available)?
