Well I have a bit of a dilemma.

I have an Eclipse 8443 HU I used to run in my car. Either I forgot which disc I used or the player is not reading it.

Well it long story short I triggered the ESN and it displays the HELP message now.

Eclipse is bust now as far as car audio goes. Can these even be reset any more or is my HU garbage?

There is no way to reset these by taking them apart? No jumper or anything correct? Just want to look into it before I scrap the unit.

Chances are the laser pickup is bad. It can not read the disk. As far as I know there is no way around it.
