I just bought a 2004 Mazda RX-8 and the previous owner decided to gut the BOSE sound system and replace it with a BOSS head unit, door speakers and 6x9's. I'm not even gonna try and figure out what he may have been thinking here... Anyway, there's now a double din opening so I'm looking for a good double din head unit. The most important thing to me is good sound quality. I had an 80prs and a cda 9887 in the past and really liked them both. It's just a shame they're not double din. I just ordered some Morel Tempo 6.5 components for the front and Morel Temp coax 6x9's for the rear. I'm still looking at amps, but I need help selecting a head unit. I would like something compatible with my Galaxy Note 9 for streaming music, but besides that, the best possible sound quality is my only other requirement. So th sum it up ; DOUBLE DIN, NOTE 9, SOUND QUALITY.
Thanks to everyone that took the time to read my post and offer some assistance. guild 4
