I installed a Pioneer AVH-2440NEX with a PAC Audio RP5-GM11 harness in my cousin's 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD crew cab today. Everything went fine with the install, but I'm wondering if I can reassign a steering wheel control button. His Silverado came with Bose, XM, and Onstar, so when I press the voice button on the steering wheel, the Onstar voice is activated. And since the Pioneer headunit has a voice button, is there a way I can reassign the steering wheel control button to activate the Pioneer voice? He doesn't use the Onstar.
I would appreciate any help I could get. Thanks
