Hi Everyone,

I'm going to be upgrading the radio in my wive's car and need some advice on who to go with for harness adapter. Her car is a 2008 mercury mariner. It does not have factory navigation or factory Bluetooth/Ford Sync. The head unit is probably going to be a Kenwood DNX995s and I'm eventually going to get installed a backup camera and side view cameras. Based on my research I've come down to between PAC audio and Idatalink. I was just wondering what you guys would recommend for my situation.

Thanks,

-------------
Nathan

i would just use basic parts for it if you dont have Bluetooth or sync system-

metra 70-5521 harness
metra 99-5814 double din kit
metra 40-CR10 antenna adapter

If you have steering wheel controls and want to retain them id use the pac swi-cp2. Easy to use and free app (control pro) that shows you all the wiring/dip switch settings

33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!
