I have a 2003 Cadillac Deville with the stock stereo still installed. I was going to install a new stereo but learned that I needed to buy a separate unit to install in order to keep the steering wheel controls. Are these brand specific or would any one work? Are these easy to install? Are there any walkthroughs that could help me with this install? I have never done an install with one of these so I am a little confused. Any help would be great. Thank you.

pac audio sells them and they have pretty good instructions on their site etc..
