Hey kids! Every once in a while, this 50+ year old car audio junkie gets the bite... I'm really considering again putting a system back into the old trusty Civic. She still runs like a top, even with almost 300K on the clock. :)

Anyway, I have all the same speakers from my old system. JL Silk domes, Vifa 4" mids, Adire Extremis 6" woofers in the doors. Still have my pair of LAT-700 drivers (which I know DYohn simply LOVES... LOL), and I'm looking for comments regarding the new USAcoustics. They look like nice amplifiers, and I'm considering a pair of Barbara Anns (100X4) for the doors, with a Mike (1500X1) on the subs. So, this begs the question: What's the *new* USAcoustics like? I love A/B amplification, and I think the price is really attractive. I'll be using a Dayton Audio DSP-408 for signal processing, including TD and crossover.

Was even considering asking "Big D Wiz" over on YouTube to review them, as I really want to know what they're capable of, but I thought I'd get input from a larger brain trust first. Sound off, everyone!

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Weird... I'm 62 years old and have been messing with car audio since I was 17 and I've never heard of most of the brands and models you've mentioned. I've heard of JL and Dayton, but nothing else. This might explain why nobody else posted a reply since August. Did you ever find out what you were looking to learn? Those amps sound like they could really help, that's about all I can say because I'm not familiar with that brand.
