I'm working on a 04 Chevy trailblazer LS and my best friend had bought a radio from crutchfield and it came with a wiring harness and when I went to hook it up the dash lights went crazy, but when I unplugged it everything was fine,.

Did Crutchfield wire the harness to the radio? Is there a box of some sort plugged into the harness? What is thhe brand and model number of the harness?

No they didn't but it has a black box on the harness, and they wired the harness
