The wires in the truck, what color are the wires? Disregard the ones you have connected for power.

left front tan and gray right front dark green and light green left rear brown and yellow right rear blue and light blue. I, used the wiring hornnes that came with the receiver so I,had to connect it by changing the order of wiring constant is orange in the truck and the ignition is yellow and so forth red to orange and yellow to red either way I, still don't have sound and when I, go online to find out where the factory amp is located I, can;t get a straight answer. I.m sure if I, can find way to bypass the factory amp I, could probably bypass it and get the sound.

If you had those wire colors they are the wires that were plugged into the factory amplifier. One of 3 possible causes. 1. All of the speakers are bad. 2. You have a shorted speaker or a grounded speaker wire. 3. That Gem of a radio has no output.

The radio I, installed was a radio from my other car and worked great, the speakers works as well, everything I, read leads me to a factory amp, the factory system was a three way system. I, can;t seem to get a answer on where it's located, I. would like to bypass the amp if possible. But first I, need to locate it.

the factory amp/tuner is above the gas pedal just to the right. That's where the controls for the stereo (above ac controls) plugs into and the if it had the tape deck in the center. There should be a harness plugged into that that fits the gm-4001 harness that give you all you powers/ground/speakers connections that run up to the center below the air vents and also has the antenna connection in it

If you have those color wires, those are the wires that plugged into the factory amplifier. They WERE plugged into the amplifier in the beginning. Do not know who was the first one to put a radio in the truck, but they unplugged the 3 plugs from the amplifier and wired the radio up to those wires. They bypassed the amplifier right out of the gate.

Thank you for your reply to my question and I was aware of the receiver being in that area
The tuner was a three way device so it's possible... Right ?

Radio 12V     orange     +     radio harness
Radio Ground     black     -     radio harness
Radio Ignition     yellow     +     radio harness
Radio Illumination     gray (dimmer)     +     radio harness
Factory Amp Turn-on     pink     +     radio harness
Left Front Speaker (+/-)     tan - gray     +,-     radio harness
Right Front Speaker (+/-)     lt. green - dk. green     +,-     radio harness
Left Rear Speaker (+/-)     brown - yellow     +,-     radio harness
Right Rear Speaker (+/-)     dk. blue - lt. blue     +,-     radio harness

you may not be getting any sound because you have a blown speaker, have the speakers been replaced in the last 5 or years?

The above wiring info is for 1995 and newer. Your factory amplifier is no longer in your vehicle. Or at least it is not still connected.

this should be wire colors that are in this truck (verified by all data), we all know GM doesn't change there wire colors..ever :). This is so OP can check his wire colors to the radio

His truck does not have an amplifier turn on wire. In order to put a radio in this vehicle you must remove the 3 plugs from the Tuner/Amplifier box. The radio control piece in this vehicle is just a control piece. There are no usable wires at that device. The only place there are the standard GM wire colors are at the 3 plugs that WERE plugged into the Tuner/Amplifier. He keeps asking about bypassing the factory amplifier. I think I almost had him convinced that his factory amplifier was already out of the circuit. Then you came and posted about the pink amp turn on wire. That wire did not happen till 1995. Hopefully he does not get back on bypassing the amplifier, which is not there, or at least not connected.
