I'm trying to decide sub selection for under rear seat of an extended cab Silverado. Although a sealed enclosure would simplify things, I've always been partial to ported enclosures from past installs. In taking some measurements, I can get the suggested internal volume for a ported enclosure on most of the subs I'm considering but it would have to be a pretty irregular shape to facilitate it. My question is... as long as I'm able to meet the recommended internal volume, port area and length suggested by the manufacturer, will an erratic enclosure shape effect subwoofer performance? Thank you for any thoughts or advise!

Thank you for the response and links! Do you have any personal experience with their enclosures... decent construction, fit, accuracy?
