Are you using a harness or is the factory plug missing (cut off)? If you disconnect all the speaker wires and power up, does the error go away?

You have a grounded speaker wire or a shorted speaker. If it is currently saying amp error at power up, you can figure out which speaker it is by turning the radio on and listening for a slight tick coming from one of the speakers. Which ever one is making that sound is the one with the problem.
