Any1 know where to get a wire diagram for 2001 Eclipse. I am not using the factory headunit or amp. Does not appear to be a wire harness for it. Only for the non ampe version.

Try Factory Car Stereo Repair, Inc.
I've used them for reference on multiple occasions for OEM stereo wires. I've listed the links to their 4 Mitsubishi wire guides below, at least one of them should have what you need. It doesn't give colors, but you can match the plug diagram to what is in the car from the factory and figure it out from there.

wvsquirrel That is enuff to get started. I did get power to the unit and now know just need run new speaker wires and will be good to go. Dont think they sell a wire harness for this car. Cartoys told me they dont anyway.

Yes it does with the amp. i got a wire harness for in the dash but think i have to run speaker wires to the harness where the amp was cause i get no sound so far. The radio powers on and all.

You need the MITAH adapter and this will integrate the aftermarket head unit with the stock infinity amps. ------------- Ethan

Thx for the link. I found that on another site yesterday finally. Hard to believe the car audio places here in Portland dont know anything about what they sell. 2 different shops CarToys and Outrageouse audio both said no wire harness was made and all new wire had to be run cutting all factory wires. They also said no mount kit was made with a pocket like the 1 i currently have. Guess they just want ya to pay them the $250 to install it.

UHHHH..... For that mitah adapter.... The aftermarket headunit has to have atleast 2 or more RCA pre-amp outputs... Is that the Audio out Rear and audio out Front RCA jacks?

or you can use y-adapters and just lose the ability to fade; or of course if you have an aftermarket head unit without ANY preamp outputs then you can use a 4-channel LOC or two 2-channel LOCs. Still easier than cutting into factory wiring and having to figure out which wire is what. ------------- Ethan
