We have a 2019 Subaru Forester that is having an issue where the factory headunit reboots after 10-15 seconds over and over. A new aftermarket HU (Alpine Halo ILX-F511) was installed. Doing so produced the same result, reboots over and over in the same 10-15 time frame.
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

to me it sound like either the constant or the ground. Id try and run a wire from the battery to the constant and try another ground different than what the harness has. Or if you good with a multi meter put one end on ground and one on the constant and see if its losing power an any time

33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!
