2002 Chevrolet Avalanche, Kenwood Excelon

New kenwood excelon installed on memorial day weekend 2023.mt onstar would not turn off, it was draining my battery, I pulled the onstar fuse problems solved. Now my windows, wipers, and sunroof will all work with the key off even after the driver's door is opened. I'm running the kenwood through the bose amp (which I hate) I have the pink wire from the amp to the blue trigger wire on kw I have the main power wire of the kw direct to the battery on a toggle switch the power wire is fused about 4 inches from the battery pos terminal. Why am I having these problems? My chimes all work and so do my courtesy lights

We were discussing it in my camp, did a little research- and found that the GMOS 11 Harness would most likely correct your symptoms.
Best of Luck, I believe it's approx $120 on eBay, as they've been discontinued by Axxess from what I found.

Did you check the pink wire voltage with the ignition on and then off? You should just run the KW amp turn on(remote) to ignition source(12v when ignition on and 0v when ignition off).   

Why is main power on a toggle?
Assuming you just tapped into speaker outputs from the Bose amp, and not a Bose amp bypass.

I suspect the pink wire is causing issue. Did not work as a remote for amp turn on after I replaced radio.

After 20 years just give up on on-star, chimes, RDS, rear audio control, rear DVD. I held my ground to keep them all this time too. Now planning different system with new wiring since radio took dump.

The GMOS 11 mentioned above will not correct your windows wiper and sunroof issues.
