has anyone ever installed a cd player on a 89 Corsica? the heating controls and radio controls are on the same panel. i'll probably have to cut the panel somehow. i'd appreciate some tips.

You can purcahse the Corsica mounting kit for about $ 20.00 at any local stereo shop. This will makethe work alot easier for you than trying to hack the dash apart so it will fit.

Yep, the kit's pretty decent, and hardly even costs any than a "regular" kit.  Don't forget the wire harness adapter too.

There are two Beretta/Corsica kits; one for cars with air conditioning, one for those without.  Verify that you get the correct one.

As I recall, the kit includes decent instructions too.

Yes I have used the Metra kit # 99-3101 for Corsica's & Beretta's with a/c and Metra kit # 99-3102 for the ones w/o a/c.Both look and fit wonderfully. posted_image
