Just got this car in and the radio is completely dead. Pressing all the buttons does nothing. Checked the wires at the connector and the black has ground, the yellow has constant power and the red has power with ignition on. That would confirm no external issues with fuses and power supply as well as ground. Radio is toast if nothing even lights up, right? Is this worth fixing and do places still fix radios? I'd just as soon pop in an OEM VW radio from Facebook for $50 to $100.

Have you checked the fuse at the back of the unit?

There is none.

That's weird. It shows a 10 amp fuse in the manual.
