I have a custom box that goes under the rear seat and can fit two 10" subs. They have one cubic foot of space and want speakers that will give me the best low freq. I heard infinity is good but they recommend a smaller box for those.

I take it that that is a sealed enclosure? Also how much are you looking to spend, and what kind of amp do you have?

i can spend about three hundred a sub. it is a sealed box. I have a 1000w audiobahn amp. I was planning on getting another amp too that would be suitable for the subs.

Xtant Hex 10s are great subs and hit low...I installed a set in my buddys girlfriends convertible mustang and was amazed at how low and loud they were, especially cuz they were in the trunk of a convertible...

I am running the 12s in my hatchback and am not disappointed...

arent those the weird shaped speakers. my box already has a round cutout and i don't really want to buy another box. If i can still use the same box then that is an option.

I have used rockford subs in that same truck and they sounded great even with less power than you have. also kickers new comp are great and cheaper too.

I would suggest Diamond Audio (https://www.diamondaudio.com/MobileAudio/index.cfm?page=Subwoofers
And Eclipse the Titanium series woofers   https://www.eclipse-web.com/
Both companies put out some of the best subs on the market and they both have excellent lows

they are hex shaped (6 sides) but the mount for them is circular...you would not need a new box or have to modify the one you have...and in that price range bberman is right, Diamond also makes some wonderful subs, but the M6s will not get as loud as the Hexs and they sound so similar that I prefer the Xtants for the volume as well as the low end extension...

What do you guys think about solo barics. I know i would have to make a square cut out but would it be worth it. How do they sound?
