dont bother wasting your money on Volfenhag products...they sound like ass and if you give them their "rated" power you will cook them in short order...

Save your money, if you get the Volfenhag subs i garantee you withing a few months you will be in the market for new subs once again. they look nice have good specs but are as cheap as they come and sound like crap. But if you tell us what kind of amp you plan on using and your budget maybe we can make some suggestions.

I have a Volfenhag 12". I have it wired to a 800 watt amp so that each vioce coils has its own channel. I personally am happy with it. The only thing I have noticed is that when the sub is really thumpin there is a buzz that comes from it that I haven't been able to nail down yet. For the price of the sub, they aren't bad, but there are definately better subs out there.

bfog, it's not a good idea to wire your sub like that, it's very likely to damage it.... I wouldn't be surprised if that is the cause of the problem u have now... just for the record, I don't like those subs... ------------- D148L0
