First you connect two in series to get 4 ohms (repeat this 3 more times) then you get 4 pairs at 4 ohms each . Now you connect them all in parallel (the four pairs) and you get 1ohm.

    2+2       2+2      2+2        2+2 series

      4            4           4            4 parallel

            2                           2       parallel

                          1 ohm

Sorry, it look as if it cannot be done...I tried for a while and could not get you to 1 Ohm total.   Although, you could always get (8) more 2-Ohm DVC subs and problem solved!

MY bad i thought that you ment 8 2ohm subs (I din't see the dvc). What kind of amp do you have?  I can get you to .8 ohms. but don't know if your amp will take it. If it doesn't then your are going to have to run your amp at 2 ohms. Or get a second one.

I have a Boss Audio Systems Riot 3000D Mono Block. I don't think it will handle .8 ohms. It says not to go under 1 ohm. so I guess I'll stay at 2 ohms. It slams real hard right now,but you know how it is , you always look to get that little extra were ever you can get it. I don't have any more room for another amp. I wish I did. My bronco is full up. I would love to get  the back  seat out and get 8 subs more and more amps but the lady and kids would not care to much for that. I know some of the guys on this forum think Boss is junk, and they may have had bad luck with them ,but the stuff i have sounds great has lots of power and has never failed me. I have had two of my Boss amps for almost 6 years now and they sound and perform as good today as they did when they were new. I have Msx audio classic 12's 2+2 dvc. they are great subs I had some before but never installed them. I sold some to my buddys and they sounded so good i went out a got 8 for myself. all total i have 20 speakers in the bronco. all are Boss ripper series 2 tweets 2 -4", 2 -51/4", 2- 61/2, 4 -6x9s and the 8 12's it really rocks. thanks for your help guys i didn't think it could be done ,but i know there are a lot of smart dudes in this forum and maybe i was missing somthing. thanks again.
