Hi folks,

Just a quick question for you all...........

Friend (A) says to run the power cables down one side of the car, with the RCA's and speaker wires down the other.  Friend (B) says to run the power cables with the speaker wires and have the RCA's by themselves on the other side.  Common sense to me says (A) is right by keeping the power cables (4 ga.) well away from the audio signals but who is right?

Thanks,

Dave

Buy friend "A" a beer and beat up friend "B"....you are just asking for unwanted noise to get into your system by running the power with your RCA's

Err...running the power wire with your signal wires (not just RCA's) will allow unwanted noise.

Can I trust someone who installs his amps with a finger up his nose?  (j/K)

Thanks for confirming what I thought, I appreciate it.

Dave

P.S.  As for buying him a beer, he'll get that when he pays me back the $50 he owes me...lol
