Here is a question that I simply do not have the answer for and I'm hoping that one of you experts out there can clear this up for me.

When speaking in terms of "Sensitivity", because speaker "A" boasts a 93db (Pioneer) and speaker "B" (MB Quart) has 87db does that mean that at the same volume level that speaker "A" is louder? In other words, does speaker "A" better utilize the power (watts) on hand than does speaker "B"?

Thanks,

Razorbacx

I would suggest you read this article rather lengthy but it talks about sensitivity https://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/speaker.htm
