Is it possible for a ground to have power coming into it? If so why? if its gorund the test light should go on right? THanks

where is this ground that you think you have?

Maybe it's not a ground at all!

Use a meter to test it. Test lights require a minimum amount of power to work, so very low voltages won't light it up.

yeah it possible, unlikely tho, in older mercedes everything was backwards, the plus side of the battery was grouned to the engine block, and the negative was running to all the accessories. i doubt thats the case for u.. .if you have some + power coming  from something you have some major problems, it is possible, but ur beggin for a fire or something is going to get hot gor instants, the other day, i had a 9 volt battery in my pocket w/ some keys in it also, the key laid accross the battery, and the key was acting as my ground so i had positive to my ground, BUT my battery was hot as f**k and about burned a hold in my jeans, and was swolen like a mofo, so if you do have + to a ground, something is gonna get hot or your battery is gonna blow. not fun.
