I am hooking up an amp to power some additional speakers in my 4runner. Question - Which wire off the OEM head unit do I run to the amp in order for it to turn on with the head unit? Judging from the wiring diagram on this site, I would imaging it is the Gray wire. I want to be absolutely sure of this before I splice into anything.
If anyone could help, this is the last "issue" before I go ahead and start this self-installation project.

Yes, the grey wire is the wire you will need to splice into to get accessory power to your amp. It is an accessory wire which means it will turn on whenever you turn the key either forward or back. The good thing, is that the car doesn't always have to be on to get the signal but I am sure most of what I said you already know. :) So hit up that grey wire and you are set.
