You have to use a RTA ( Real Time Analyzer ) to measure SPL.

You can use an RTA that includes an SPL meter, but all you need to measure sound pressure is an SPL meter. https://www.gold-line.com/spl.htm Radio Shack even has a couple of models, but they only measure up to 126dB.

Audiocontrol makes a unit with a readout for the dash.It is called the EPIC-150. It goes up to 150Db.

If you don’t want to purchase the equipment you can enter your car in a DB Drag comp, anyone can enter and have their spl measured https://www.termpro.com/dbdrag
