Looking to find a quality SQ sub. Something that hits hard but doesn't sacrifice that sound. I have heard alot of good things about the Kicker CompVR which is what i am leaning towards buying. Help me out and throw out some suggestions on what you would buy.   :)

What are you looking to drive with your amp, what kind of music do you prefer, how much are you looking to spend, and what are you looking for as far as audio...*Mostly bass w/mid-high undertones, all around amplified sound*....?? All those things would determine my personal choice...just wondering...

Hey man,

If you are looking for something that hits REALLY hard when the box is built correctly (ported) and still offers excellent SQ you should highly consider the MB Quart 12's. RWC304 was last years model and they are just so incredibly beautiful it makes you want to dance all over.

Not to knock the Kicker Comp VR's at all, they are an AMAZING SUB....but I find that Kicker is a little more directed at SPL and not SQ. (They make one hell of an amp to drive whatever you need to drive too).  You would also find that the MB Quart are in the same price range as the Comp VR's.

Hope that helped a bit....

i got two MB 12", when they where hooked up,which didnt even push it to the rms range it can handle, they hit good and sounded great...

my friend has kicker comp 10's, they are pretty good also.

basically i would find a place that sells them and test them out, and see which ones you perfer more..

take a listen to the Infinity Kappa Perfects.  They are really awesome subs and pretty reasonably priced.
