i have a dual voice coil volfenhag 12" speaker in a 1.87 square foot box and need to know what diameter bass port and length of port tube is needed for the correct sound it only says the size of port o must be a maximum of 10% of port 1 length

You'll need a 1 1/2" diameter port at roughly 6 3/8" long. If you want to use a 1" port it's going to need to be about 11 1/2" long.

what about a 3" tube what would be the length

First off scratch the first two numbers I gave you.....i must not have been in my right mind that day. For a 3" tube you'll want about 11 1/4".
