I am getting one Kicker L7 installed in my mustang and Im looking for a box that will fit my mustang. I hear that the L7's sound a lot better with a ported box and the car stereo place I went to said they could build me one, but it would be like $300... Any suggestions....??? Oh yeah.. Running it off a 600.1 Kicker amp.....

If you decided to get two Kicker L7 12" inches there is a sealed box. I know that you wanted ported, but I found a sealed one for $75. here is the link. https://7925.adahost.com/computer/index.html?loadfile=catalog22_0.html

Just scroll to the very bottom that is where the kicker box is. I have doen business with this company for avery long time. They are very dependable and reliable. I hope that I have helped in some way.

Mustangs arent' exactly fun to build boxes for but the guys at home depot sure can make it a lot easier.  Bust out a tape measure and find out the dimensions of the box you'll need and take them there.  They'll cut everything up for you and it'll cost you around $20 for the caulk and mdf.  Then all you have to do is screw it together and carpet it or whatever you want to do.  I haven't cut wood to build a box since we got a home depot here in panama city because it's so much easier to let them do it for about $3.  Oh and if you want the box to sound really beautiful line the inside w/ some dynamat spray.  Good luck!
