I am thinking about buying (2) 12" Kicker Solo-Baric L5 DVC at $175 a piece. Or may even go with two 15" Kicker Solo-Baric L5 DVC at $199 a piece. Or one 15" Kicker Solo-Baric L7 DVC. Any suggestions anyone.

By the way the price on the 15" kicker L7 is $252 dollars if that helps.

What kind of sound are you looking for? SPL? SQ? a combination of the two? Also, what kind of vehicle is this going to be installed in? ------------- Ethan

SPL is what I'm looking for. They will either be installed in my Ford F-150 or my Toyota 4-Runner.

If just going for SPL then why not go with some Rockfords?? Would think you could get them for less than the kickers you are looking at and they will give you some good SPL, plus depending on how much power you are gonna put on them there are plenty of models to choose from to match up to your amp.

I like the Kickers but you can find them for cheaper. How does 179 for a 12" L7 sound?

I like the sounds givin by 15" L7 kickers, but haven't yet heard the L5... I wonder what the SQ difference would be. Just a lower RMS and no titanium coating? Go kickers... maybe even 2 12" if you are budgeting.

Yeah, thanks everybody I think that I'm going to go with two 12" L5's and JBL 1200.1 to run them.Does that sound good to anyone? If so how would I hook them up to my amp to get the full features of my amp (diagram if available).

Get the dual 4 ohm version and wire them like this to get the full potential out of that amp.
Now with 2 12's and 1200 watts on them you will have some extremely rude bass!! Trust me, i only run 2 10's with 600 watts on them and its stupid loud.
