I'm a needing your opinion on Pioneer amps so if anyone has had experience with Pioneer amps.Tell me what you know. Thanks guys

Not a huge fan of their amps but they do make some nice head units. But how many channels and how much power are you looking for? Also how much are you looking to spend?

See I have a Ford F-150, and I am looking to for a good system to put in it.I am looking for both SQ and SPL,but more SPL than SQ if that makes since.But I already have my Head Unit picked out. I just need 2 pairs of 5x7(6x8), am amp to run those, a good sub(s), and an amp to run it and I'm wanting to spend about 700 or 800.

Pioneer will NOT give you the spl you are looking for. Granted they are cheap, you get what you pay for. I might only use a Pioneer amp if it was free for my mids. ------------- --Adam

Yea I agree w/ ghswrestler on that one. Pioneer amps aren't all about bump. If you're short on cash you'd be better off getting a boss amp than a pioneer if you want lots of bump and don't care much about quality. In reality though, 90% of sound quality comes from the subs, not the amp. When it comes to amps most of the money you spend is for reliability and power, sound quality last.

Pioneer amps were never meant to run subs, they'll do the job for your mids and highs.
