My friend wants me to put him a system in his vehicle. He listens to alot of bassy music and loves his music Loud. He wants to spend around 700 or 800 bucks. He don't need a Head unit just some front and back speakers,an amp to run those,a sub(s), and an amp to run those. All, I forgot;he drives a 1997 Ford F-150.

You're friend is going to save himself alot of money by not having to purchase a HU, so I would highly recommend MB Quarts wherever you can fit them. They are simply the best for the money. Depending on whether he has an extended cab or regular cab will dictate your sub choice...SPACE! I've got a pair of MB Quart DKC169 6x9's in the rear deck of my Honda Accord and they thump like a sub with only 22 watts rms going into them. Now don't get me wrong, nothing can take the place of a sub, but the right speakers can possibly make you foret that you wanted one in the first place. There's alot of good amps out there with some bearing a much bigger price tag over others, but not necessarily delivering a better sound. I would attempt to narrow down a few amps in his price range and then read the reviews posted all over the net. I would pick my full range speaker replacements first, amp second and then hunt down a sub and a separate amp to push it as my last item. GO WITH THE QUARTS!

Okay, thanks guys for the comments. He also has an extended cad truck too so that means more room. I'm deciding on a good sub though.
