The cortina origianlly came with the am radio which has one speaker one power and one aerial plug how coul i install a recent radio  into this would i have to do some extra wiring ???????

please help

Hi ya,
I pressume your cortina has the console below the heater controls, with a clock in it ?
If so, there is a proper stereo fitting panel that will take a DIN sized stereo. The acc wire is ok to use, and you can use the clock perm. power also.
If you have not got the console, the stereo can fit in the dash-but you will need to cut out the steel and run a power wire from the key barrel loom.
Naturally you will need to run new speaker wires from the stereo to all your added speakers.
