I have an a/d/s/ PQ-10 amp bridged into two channels running focals 165k2 and the amp heats up after about 35 minutes of peak use.  The amp is in the trunk.  What would work best, install the amp under the seat where it can have cooler air from the air conditioner or install a cooling fan?  I live in TX and it gets pretty darn hot here.

I would really appreciate some advise from installers or anyone who has had this problem and found a solution.

put the amp in a place to cool  get air. a fan in your trunk will just blow hot air.
