IF I was to install a line driver in line with the RCA's and change the preout voltage from the original 2 Volt to 8 Volt, would there be an audible difference in sq and spl.

possibly the SQ might be a tiny bit better in terms of a better S/N ratio, but then again that would depend on how loud you played it. You'd have to turn it up pretty loud to be able to tell the difference.

For SPL I don't think it would make much of a difference.
