Can some one please help me with the wiring for a 91 Ford Explorer XLT. I cannot get sound to my speakers. I have taken the Premium cassette sound system out and am installing a CD player. I have power to the new Stereo but no sound. What I thought was the speaker wires must not be, I have no sound. any help would be great!!!

Constant 12V+ GREEN/ YELLOW
Switched 12V+ Yellow/Black
Ground Black
Illumination Blue/Red
Dimmer n/a
Amplifier Remote Blue
Antenna Right Front
Front Speakers 5" x 7" Doors
Left Front (+) ORANGE / Green
Left Front (-) Blue/White
Right Front (+) WHITE/ Green
Right Front (-) GREEN/ Orange
Rear Speakers 5" x 7" Rear Doors
Left Rear (+) Pink/Green
Left Rear (-) BROWN / Yellow
Right Rear (+) ORANGE / Red
Right Rear (-) BLACK/ White

do those wires come right up to the back of the factory stereo?

You should have used the ford eliminator wiring harness--makes the install a piece of cake.

you might need to bypass the factory amplifier, and that's where it really comes in handy to have the proper harness.

If you've made all the correct connections up at the head unit, you can just buy the amp jumper cable by itself.
