I use Polyurethane caulking that you can find at any Home Depot

Make sure if it's silicon-based that you allow plenty of time (at least 24 hours) for it to dry before mounting the subs inside there, just to be safe.

It sounded like in your first post you were wondering if you're supposed to put any type of fill or insulation in there.  Usually you're supposed to add around a pound of fiber fill type insulation per 1 cu. ft. of internal volume.

Are you talking about lining the actual inside of the enclosure to achieve better sound? Or are you asking about sealing the joints together during the construction of the enclosure?

I mean lining the inside of the enclosure, not caulking it.

Is it fine if I dont use any poly-fill stuffing, or is it neccesary?

I have heard fiberglass insulation works, that's what's in my box. use the same amount as the fiberfill. it is a good idea to use the stuff I believe, you can go to home depot and pick up one of those odd-jobs packages of fiberglass insulation for $3.50, in the insulation section of the store. good luck!

Some of the best sounding boxes ive heard skip the polyfill and are simply lined heavily w/ dynamat spray.  Just figured i'd throw that out there.
