MA makes great subs, they hit real hard!  I believe they are more for spl though if you are willing to give up some sq.

MA makes excellent spl subs but i have heard that their amps are CRAP

Ma audio subs ae good for someone who just want to have a little bass in their car.  But as far as serious competiton or serious beat they suck.  I had two ma audio 150xe 15's and my JBL 1200.1 Burned them up.  They are rated at about 50 rms lower than most other speakers also.  But they are cheap and you get what you pay for.
